I am an IT professional, currently involved in IT research based App Development. I have got Masters Degree in IT (Gold Medalist) and also having a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology (B.I.T) from Kantipur City College, Kathmandu, Nepal.

Professional Experiences

May 2010- July 2011 - Alternative Technology - Software Programmer

The following are the brief description of some of the projects that I have done so far:

RugTracking

Web project for tracking the status of the carpet (rug) ordered by the customer from order till delivery. It was developed using ASP.Net and JQuery at front-end and MY-SQL at the backend.

BioMED Pathological Software

Clinical Management Software for handling all the processes involved in the clinic; from patient information entry to report generation. It was developed in C#.Net as frontend and MY-SQL as backend and SAP Crystal Report as reporting engine. I was the team lead in this project and was involved in person from client interaction to deployment.

Troubleshooter

A web based application also in ASP.Net and MYSQL for troubleshooting �€œGalaincha�€� software.

POP3 Downloader

A utility program in C# that downloads the programs, files and torrents at off time. Users had to send email to the predefined email id in a predefined format. The program extracts the links from the email periodically and queues the links for download.

IP-Logger

A utility program that tracks the current and previous IP assigned to the router and sends an email to the user(s) if IP change is detected. Used C# .Net and XML. This utility was very helpful for the administrator to use the office resource from outside the office.

SMS Application

A utility program for sending SMS through telephone service provider�€™s free websms service (www.websms.ntc.net.np). Used C# .Net and XML.

Attendance Application

An application that detects if a user�€™s computer is inside the office network and keeps log at a regular interval, which is analyzed later and filled into database as the attendance. Used C# .Net and My-SQL.

As the coordinator of the Research Department, I coordinated various research activities inside the office. The total number of researches counts 33 out of which 5 were found useful and were included in the product.
